Top Chapel Day Nursery FAQs
1. What is the Curiosity Approach?
Our setting proudly follows aspects of the curiosity approach. It is a modern day approach to early childhood offering uniqueexperiences through play promoting awe and wonder into early childhood for the ‘thinkers and doers of the future’!
2. What is your nursery like?
We are happy you asked. We want our thinkers and doers of the future to be able to play, learn and explore in an exciting and natural environment giving that Awe and Wonder experience! It’s simple really, we are not just an average nursery, we are a nursery with no plastic toys! Yes that’s right, we ditched the plastic for the good of our future environment and replaced this with natural, recycled and authentic resources giving the children real first hand experiences on how to carefully handle these items through play. For example do you remember grandma’s teapot when you were a young child, we will be placing items like this all around our nursery were children can learn basic skills on how to carefully handle these items, creating exciting play opportunities whilst making positive relationships with their peers. We will also be replacing our pre constructed toys with natural and recycled building materials! Our motto is ‘Child led play' is the best way’!
